To be held in AWE on Christmas morning

by Dave Malnes

When we are held in the awe of God we plainly see his majesty.

The Creator of the universe, the Lord Almighty, the Prince of peace became flesh to be the Savior of the world.

With that same sense of awe, we reflect on what God already has done for us. There, lying in the manger, we see his love and grace. “The true light that gives light to every man” came into this world. The light of the world shines and we receive it by faith.

Believers – those who place their trust in Christ – have the privilege of proclaiming that we have seen the light. We introduce his presence through the power of his Word. By doing so, we shine the true light for the world to see.

May this Christmas fill you with awe and wonder! Christ – the Word made flesh – came for us. He died for us. And for that, our hearts rejoice!

Merry Christmas!!
